Just wrapped the edit and grade on my second Wrangler film. It’s now in post. Look forward to sending it out into the world soon.

Just finished a live video for General Elektriks, sprinkled with some nice visual oddities. It was made with footage shot over 4 Paris concerts in February. Shot by Grand Crew, edited by Mathilde Brilliant, and post by Nightshift. Check it out below !!

Off to London now for a fun split screen job with Mother. Haven’t shot in London in forever – looking forward to it.

Just shot a new film for Wrangler out in Wilmington, North Carolina, which is the home of Iron Man 3, Dawson’s Creek, a snake infested river, a couple haunted bed & breakfasts, some tiny poneys, and some more unforgettable stuff.

Won’t be out till July (sad face), but the one i shot for Wrangler 6 months ago is out next month (relieved face).

In other news, my brother’s been killing it on his tour (innit) and making people jump …

Just back from Buenos Aires where I shot a really fun US spot for Honey Bunches of Oats.The meat was tender, the malbec was hardcore, the cast and crew were top notch, and we shot on the set of Amas de Casa Desperadas, aka the latino Desperate Housewives…

So overall, an awesome experience.

Busy couple of months. I shot a new spot for Ebay in April, with the Stinky Berlin office & DDB Dusseldorf – picture below. Huge set build, with a complicated camera move. Didnt sleep much that month, but the spot is quite fun. Will post the anglo version in a couple of days.

Then flew to Portland, Oregon a couple weeks ago to shoot a film for Wrangler via Stink Digital. Portland is exactly like its portrayed in Portlandia.

I usually try not to generalise, but if someone held a gun to my head and asked me to summarize Portland in 5 themes, I would probably go for these = tattoos, rain, good food, flannel, gus van sant. (and the strange concept of « hipster strip clubs » as a wild card)
